Abington Park Explorers introduces families to the ecological, social and cultural history of Northampton’s oldest park. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and created working in partnership with volunteers from the local community, Northampton Borough Council, Friends of Abington Park and local archaeologists to present the story of the park’s history through the ages.
So what are you waiting for? Get your shoes on and explore Abington Park, with the interactive map you can learn about each tree in the park, discover which one are part of the Red List; as well as wildlife, historic points of interest and venues. You can test your knowledge with our quiz and find out if you have what it takes to become a Park Ranger. The gallery means you can upload your very own photos for the world to see, and with our events calendar you’ll never miss out on things to do!
